Production Advantages:

The primary characteristic of a manhole cover is its strength, making round covers an ideal choice. Round covers distribute weight more evenly and are better equipped to handle heavy loads and high speeds compared to square covers. The weakness of square covers lies in their design; the center-to-edge distances vary, making the middle less robust and the corners the strongest points under pressure. In contrast, the center-to-edge distance of a round cover is uniform in all directions, ensuring consistent strength across the entire surface.
Additionally, round covers are simpler to install because they don’t require alignment. They can be placed at any angle and will fit perfectly, whereas square covers must be carefully aligned with the manhole edges before installation.
